Low Sodium Pita Burger with Chipotle Mustard Sauce

Ingredients


Low Fat Yogurt 1 Quart
Smart Picks™ Low Sodium Beef Patties 50 - 2.25 oz.
Yellow Mustard 1 Cup
Whole Grain Pita Bread, cut in half 25
Chipotle Powder 1 Tablespoon
Lettuce leaves 50
Tomato slices 50

Chipotle Mustard Sauce Ingredients
Low Fat Yogurt 1 Quart
Yellow Mustard 1 Cup
Chipotle Powder 1 Tablespoon

Method

  1. Make Chipotle Mustard Sauce; In a bowl whisk together Yogurt, Mustard and Chipotle Powder. Set aside.
  2. Heat Low Sodium Beef Patties.
    1. Convection Oven (Frozen Product): Preheat oven to 350°F. Heat for 9 - 11 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
    2. Conventional Oven (Frozen Product): Preheat oven to 350°F. Heat for 15 - 18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
    3. Microwave Oven (Frozen Product): Place on microwave safe plate, cover with paper towel and heat on high for 60 - 70 seconds.
    4. Flat–Top Grill (Frozen Product): Heat grill to 375°F (medium – high). Heat for 10 - 12 minutes (5 - 6 minutes).
  3. Add Yogurt, Ketchup and Mayonnaise, whisk to combine well.
  4. Set dressing aside.
  5. Place Lettuce Leaf in ½ Pita Bread Pocket.
  6. Place 1 heated Burger in the Pocket.
  7. Place 1 Tomato Slice on top of the Beef Pattie in Pita Pocket.
  8. Fill squeeze bottles with the Chipotle Mustard Sauce and serve as the condiment with the Pita Burgers and serve.
