Green Coconut Curry with Beef

Steak-EZE® Sliced Steak is sautéed with thinly sliced onions, garlic, ginger, green curry paste, fish sauce and soy sauce. Simmered with coconut milk until thickened then finished with lime juice. Served over top broad rice noodles with bean sprouts, thinly sliced Thai chili and fresh cilantro.

vegetable oil
small onions, finely chopped
cloves garlic, minced
red finger chili, seeded and finely chopped
minced fresh ginger
green Thai curry paste
granulated sugar
coconut milk
sodium-reduced beef broth
fish sauce
chopped Thai basil leaves
lime juice
cooked rice noodles
chopped fresh cilantro
Lime wedges, for serving


  1. Heat oil in large saucepan set over medium heat. Add frozen steak; cook for 1 minute and flip. Cook for 1 minute and flip again. Using a spatula, gently separate pieces from steak. Cook for 1 minute or until thoroughly browned.
  2. Add onions, garlic, chili and ginger; cook for 2 to 3 minutes to until onions start to soften. Add curry paste and sugar; cook for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add coconut milk, beef broth and fish sauce. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in basil and lime juice.
  3. Serve over rice noodles and garnish with cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
