Offering of ultimate comfort food answers popular request
CINCINNATI – AdvancePierre™ Foods (APF), a nationally recognized, fully integrated producer and seller of sandwiches and value-added proteins, has added the Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich to its Pierre brand product offerings.
APF layers three full slices of American Cheese – yellow and white for an upscale appeal – between two slices of thick, grilled bread. The sandwich is wrapped in a simple brown paper package that features a susceptor lining for microwave crisping and a full-length window for customer viewing.
“Our customers have asked us to add a grilled cheese sandwich to our product line, and we’ve delivered,” said Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels at APF. “This lunch, dinner and snack favorite is a classic for a reason – it’s a satisfying meatless option and its great taste appeals to all consumers.”
The Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich is sold 12 to a case and has a 14-day refrigerated and nine-month frozen shelf life. It is available now nationwide.
