Cincinnati (OH) – AdvancePierre™ Foods (APF), a leading supplier of value-added protein and sandwich products to foodservice, retail and convenience and vending providers, announced today its plan to relocate more than 100 executives and staff to a corporate headquarters at the Landings of Blue Ash II on Carver Road in May 2014. It will occupy approximately 25,000 square feet of space.

APF is Greater Cincinnati’s largest private-sector employer with more than 4,000 employees operating in 10 facilities in six locations across the United States. The corporate headquarters will serve as the company’s Blue Ash Support Center. Renovations also are underway at its current offices on Princeton-Glendale Road, which will be dubbed the West Chester Support Center.

APF is an industry leader in the commercialization of quality beef, chicken and pork products and is the No. 1 manufacturer of sandwiches, full-cooked burgers, Philly steak, stuffed chicken breasts and country fried steak. APF is one of the largest providers of protein products to school systems across the U.S.

President, CEO and APF board member John Simons shared: “As we build to become the premier value-added protein and sandwich producer in our very competitive marketplace, we are uniting senior company leaders in our new corporate headquarters in the city of Blue Ash. Consolidating these leaders into a team-based work space in Blue Ash, and renovating our existing administrative offices in West Chester into our shared services center, will help us build upon our strong local legacy and further our innovative approach to delight our customers through superior service and great-tasting food solutions.”

“The city of Blue Ash is excited and honored that AdvancePierre™ Foods has chosen our city for its new headquarters,” said Lee Czerwonka, city of Blue Ash mayor. “Blue Ash strives to create and maintain a first-class environment where growing companies can continue to advance. We welcome AdvancePierre™ Foods to our corporate community of more than 2,300 companies and look forward to partnering for our mutual success.”

The state of Ohio and the city of Blue Ash have supported APF’s investment in Ohio and Blue Ash. APF will retain 800 manufacturing jobs in West Chester. More than 40 positions will move to Greater Cincinnati from Oklahoma.
