CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Southwest Ohio Water Environment Association recently awarded AdvancePierre Foods Cincinnati production facility the 2012 Dr. Karl G. Voelkel Industry Award. This award was presented by the associations Industrial Waste Committee and is given to a company in recognition of outstanding contributions in waste minimization, pollution prevention, environmental compliance and environmental stewardship.
“The award is given to one industry in the Southwest section of Ohio which includes 16 counties,” said Gary Sluss, Sr. Vice President Engineering.
In order to be considered for the award, candidates must satisfy one or more of the following criteria:
