New Premium, Restaurant-style Sandwiches are Ready to Serve Convenience Customers

Clear, hand-wrapped packages convey Pierre Signatures’ quality, locally-made appeal

CINCINNATI – AdvancePierre™ Foods (APF), a nationally-recognized, fully integrated producer and seller of handheld sandwiches and value-added meats, has extended its premium Pierre Signatures line with three restaurant-style sandwiches sold in clear, hand-wrapped packaging: All Beef Cheddar Cheeseburger, Southern Style Chicken Breast with Cheese and Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast with Cheese.

Each hand-made sandwich features APF’s famous microwavable hearth-baked bun for bakery-fresh flavor. The clear, hand-wrapped packaging, new to the Pierre Signatures line, provides the combined benefits of conveying locally-made appeal while allowing the consumer to see the sandwiches’ fresh quality and generous size.

The all-beef Cheddar Cheeseburger is flame-grilled and served on a sesame seed roll. Both chicken sandwiches feature a breaded chicken breast filet topped with cheese on a corn-dusted roll.

“Convenience and vending customers will enjoy the premium local sandwich shop flavor of our Pierre Signatures,” said Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels at APF. “At the same time, retailers will enjoy having restaurant-quality offerings without compromising their profits.”

The new Pierre Signatures sandwiches have a 14-day refrigerated, nine-month frozen shelf life and are designed to be sold from a refrigerated cold case. The sandwiches, packed 12 to a case, are available now nationwide.
