Mike Zelkind brings to AdvancePierre Foods more than 20 years of operations and supply chain experience—15 of which were spent in the food industry. Mr. Zelkind joined Pierre Foods after serving as senior vice president of Operations for Bumble Bee Foods.
Prior to Bumble Bee Foods, Mr. Zelkind was a Managing Director at Sage Equity Partners, which he co-founded after serving as an executive vice president of Supply Chain and Merchandizing at 99¢ Only Stores. He was also vice president at Con Agra Foods (Grocery Products Division), and worked in operations for General Mills.
Mr. Zelkind’s experience also includes management consulting with AT Kearney and ICG Commerce.
